    Counter Formation & Tactics For Champions League Final!

    As some of you may know, I've made it into the Champions League Final - A big deal for me because I've never been in a Final until now - and I was hoping I could get some expert advice on what kind of Formation and what sort of Tactics I can use to help me win. The team I am facing has a Quality of 42.8 and I have a Quality of 49.4. But I want to take no risks and put out my best Team with a strong Formation and Tactics, with Arrows being in the appropriate places. Since I have no idea how any of that works, I was hoping I could get some help for the people on the Forum.

    Here is the (Current) Formation of my opposition;

    I'm especially weary of his 7* MC who is a Free Kick Specialist. I need to find a way to shut him out of the game completely.

    Here is my Team as it looks for an upcoming match tonight;

    As I'm sure you can see; I have no idea how Arrows work, so any assistance will be appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    are you set on using that formation? if that is the case take the blue arrow off the center DC, and take the arrow off (and maybe even make it a blue arrow) on the center MC

    This is just a Counter Formation for a League Match tonight. I'm willing to change it, if you know of any other formations, I'd be happy to try it out.

    I would suggest a 3-5-2V red arrow on one of the strikers.

    Defensive, both flanks, own half, normal tackling, mixed passing, counter, no offside

    So, I'm going to need an AMR if I want to play this formation? That is going to be a bit problematic, as I can never seem to find one on the Transfer Market... Thanks for the Tactic suggestions. So, are you saying no other player should have an Arrow, just one Striker should have a Red Arrow?

    If you have an MR, you could consider playing him as AMR. Regardless, it's how I would deal with the game

    I have an MR/DMR, but wouldn't playing someone out of position lose you possession? I thought that's how Illegal Formations worked; by playing players out of position? Thanks, for your knowledge though. In the meantime, I'm going to scour the Transfer Market for an AMR. The game is at 2:30pm tomorrow... That's in roughly 19 hours from now. I hope I can win this thing, you have no idea how much I am freaking out here! Ahahaha! :P

    Oh, what about Marking? Should I go Man-to-Man or Zonal? I've heard Man-to-Man is better if your Defense is stronger than your opponent's Attack. Is that true?

    Remove red arrows, you don't need 6 red arrows if you play with 3 def and 2-3 attackers. Besides that, you'll play final match so don't play too ofensive. Your opponent will maybe put CB instead of LB and play with 3cb's, he's outsider, not you.

    I will advice to definitely play a DMC along with AMR and AML...Remove all those arrows...Only put RED arrow on your AML and AMR...
    Use passing down both flanks...

    So I think 4-5-1V will work the best......

    And I think you will win...Your team is far more stronger than his...Only a TROLL stands between win and loss......

    Brilliant. Thanks for the advice. Someone else suggested this 'Defensive, both flanks, own half, normal tackling, mixed passing, counter, no offside ' for Orders, is that on point, or would you advise something else? What about marking Man-to-Man or Zonal?

    If I'm dropping my ML & MR, that means I'll have to drop Özil from my Starting XI and that means losing out on a Corner Specialist, shouldn't be too bad, but he has definitely helped.

    I really am grateful for your help and advice!
