I just thought I was cruising in CL. Didn't even bother to look at other leg.
Whats worse I was knocked out of group stage by Arsenal who went on to play Big Boobs (Indonesian/German team WTF).
In better news the guy who was having a single handed bidding war with my injured sub-striker (see screeny above) didn't even end up with him.
Weird, but still having fun.

Glad you're having fun - when you make it a goal then its more likely to happen. If I see YOU not having fun then I'll probably need to ask if I'm fooling myself.

No idea about the Mou benchmark thing. He is a measure but how relevant it is I don't know, probably not much, but still can be good to do it. I'd much prefer it if Mou FC had stats too so I could see how he does against teams on my server but the relevance of that would be debatable too.

Davy Gravy Teams S66 - The Home Stretch.

The teams are all playing well entering the home stretch.

S19L19 - 1st in League, still in CL, trolled out of cup on pens lol. Playing 3-1-4-2. Mid 5* team with >$500M budget. On track for at least 1 trophy.

S14L14 - The treble is still alive. Undefeated in league & 7 points clear in 1st, still in both other comps. 8x6* team playing 3-1-4-1-1 (interesting as my forms are more or less morphing into each other. With my striker & attacking mid both averaging >8, the team looks set for 3 trophies, as I have spent big this season.

S9L9 - 1st in League, out of both other comps. 6x6* team playing 4-3-2-1. Still looking to strengthen squad as league is very tight. Quite confident of league trophy at this stage.

Davy Gravy Teams S66 - Penultimate Update.

Wow, another exciting season.

S19L19 - Mid 5* team - AQ 112.9. Hanging on to 1st, playing 2nd at home in 90 mins.

Playing 3-4-3

Will be a close finish. Also playing CL semi with a reasonable Q advantage, so I may meet long term in game friend in final.

S14L14 - The treble is still on. - Almost 6* team AQ 89.0. 10 points clear in 1st & semis in other 2 comps.

Playing 3-4-1-2

My only treble was with original team, so I will be going all out for this team, as a treble around L14 with out spending T's are rare.

S9L9 - Mid 5* team AQ 63.8. 1st place in league. Other comps don't ask.

CL Semi - Financial Fair Play (FFP) or FFS

CL Semi coming up this morning. Got a scored draw at home but face away leg.
I thought there was Financial Fair Play (FFP) for f's sake (FFS). Although I have faced & seen way worse T buyers.

Hi, been away for a while.
New season new challenges.
Starting with last season. 3 League wins so happy & maintained a 100% record in Cup & CL finals by losing all 3 of them.
So 6 trophies in all.

New season S67 is interesting.

S21L21 - 5* team AQ 115.3 - playing variations on 3-4-3 - $1B budget - sounds good except when you are coming 12th in league (despite a +ive GD (WTF)), when there are teams in promo positions with -ive GD - solid position in CL & Cup. Made $500M profit this season so will be spending big. Watch this space. Tanking is not an option. Interesting that L21 seems significantly harder than L20.

S15L15 - Somewhat better start - 5* team AQ 92.2 - playing variations on a 3-2-4-1 - very low budget (after getting undefeated achievement last season) - in promo spot in league and solid positions in CL & Cup. 7x6* players.

S10L10 - A good start - 5* team AQ 65.8 - playing variations on 4-4-1-1 (so does a traditional formation do better over different ones in my other accounts) - In CL spot in league & solid positions in CL & Cup. $220M budget.

I have changed my TM dealings with now only buying FA off market & neg for all other players.

A month is a long time in football.

I've been away for a month, only checking in occasionally, but as I was in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary & Czech Republic, I'm not complaining about missing a non-real football game.

So still 3 teams.

L20S21 (shock horror, 1st non promo in 47 seasons); L16S16 & L11S11.
All 3 in promo spots: 1st, 2nd & 7th respectively at 1/2 way stage. No cups and 1 CL left.

Good to see the 'usual suspects' still around on team showcase.

Will provide more updates as season ends.

Davy Gravy S68 Penultimate Update

Been a good season with all teams in CL spots & a CL Final.
My real life interfered with last 2 seasons. Went to Europe at day 1 S67 so all games were at stupid times, then came back after day 1 of S68 so games are at stupid times again.
Will win 20th league title this season.
Looking forward to games not at 4am.

So for a season of having my games at 4am, I am happy with outcome.
All teams in trophy spots, a double (League & CL).

S20L21

Solid return compared to last season. 2nd in League. Playing variation around 3-4-3.


Being away last season may have affected results.


Will have a solid team for next season with huge $

S16L16 - A great Double

A fantastic season with a League & CL Double. This team was a 35T League team ex FPL.
A great team playing variations on 4-2-3-1, so it shows that you don't always need multiple strikers, but.


The team has played solidly for many seasons.


So you can play with 1 striker, but he must be an absolute gun, like this.


S11L11

A solid team playing variations on 3-1-3-1-2. Ex OMA 35T League
2nd or 3rd in league.
Has played well for many seasons.


Happy with a Double, CL & 4 trophies.
Looking forward to games at normal time next season.

S22L21 - Av 51/2* team playing variations on 3-4-3. Very happy with performance

Team has rapidly risen to 1st in League, leading CL group, Cup don't ask.


S17L17 - Av 5* team playing variations around 4-3-2-1. Mid table, 3rd in CL group, out of Cup. Improvement needed.


S12L12 - Av 5* team playing variations on 3-1-3-1-2. 2nd in league, 2nd in CL, still in cup. Very happy with team.
