Association was promoted but lost 52 points?

Hello everyone. The association I play in had 262 points yesterday after winning the last tournament

But today when I opened TE I found out we are still at 210 points

Any reason why this happened?

Re-read the tutorial/information.

You lose 20% of your points after each season. As the new season just started i assume that's what happend.

I think I missed that line in the division section, I didn't see it in the pinned topic.
Some associations are still there in the top 10 standings or even got more. However I don't see the point of losing points that were enough to get promoted or even to be in the top 10.

And another thing. If everyone lost 20% of the points, wouldn't the standings be the same? It is not.

The standings consist of different teams than last season for my association.

We finished 1st with 324 points last season, got reduced to 259; got 3 morale for what nordeus said was an 8th place finish. This season we're down to like 16th or so in the standings to start, but its different teams.

There are multiple leagues for each rank and i assume they're mixed up after each season.
This way you're not stuck with the same associations over and over again.

Pretty much just like the ladder system in Starcraft works for example.

Losing a specific % of gained points is necessary, else everyone would sooner or later rank up to platin.
This is to make sure only teams of the same strength will face each other in the long run.

Remember that this is a brand new feature, it will need some seasons to sort itself.
