Player demotion

Not sure if this is supposed to happen but all my players dropped one star in their ratings and it's almost like their stats have been resetted to the beginning of the previous season. Is this supposed to happen? Very frustrating if it is.

The stars are only a comparative rating of the level you are on. Yes. That is normal, and yes it is frustrating til you get used to it. Your players Quality number NEVER changes, they are whatever they are.
