Login hangs

I just have installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my PC . I had to install Chrome web browser in order to have a working Flash Player . When starting the game, everything seems to go OK, but it gets stuck on the login screen : The round blue ball keeps turning arround without logging into the play . I must add that I tried the proposed clearing off the browser's Cache AND used the Adobe Website Storage Settings panel to delete all websites, with no change to my problem . Can anyone please help me ?
