Angry Why I lost this match?

I'm in the Champions League semifinal.
My opponent has the same level and three points less in the average quality of the team.

The first match is played in their field and I lose 1: 0

The second game we played in my field and I lose again ?!?!?!?!?!?!
And the result is 1:3 !?!?!?!?!?

What happened in the first match I can understand.
But someone explain to me what happened in the second game.
Also the rewards for victory were at maximum. And three friends following me.

Most likely cause; Luck and and a Formation/Tactics that were able to counter your team. I really don't see another way.

You were unlucky. Few days ago I played cup semi-finals, used 4-1-4-1, opponent 4-3n-3 in both matches. I won 5-0 A and 3-1 H.

    Hello champ,
While formation and tactics can be a relevant factor in winning a game, most people don't know that top eleven game engine has a way of turning the tide in deciding who wins a match.
I just beat a guy who was better than me in all areas. He won 1st leg 1:0 in his home and the return leg? He was bashed 5:0.
Same formation, same tactics and need I to say, same players.
I don't want to discredit the formations and counter formations posted on this forum BUT it doesn't work all the time.
    Well, from my own experience.
Good luck mate in all remaining fixtures, you'll need it.

What were the ratings for your players and their players, your answer should be there?
In football it is better to be Lucky than Good.

And I think that is based on team quality, possession and rewards.

That seems normal to me. Obviously something is wrong with the "strongest" team because if I do not play at home I will be more difficult.

If I lost a match my players have bad rating, obviously.
The question is, why my players, with perfect moral and physical condition, have not played well?
