I would say it is acceptable..... could happen sometimes
Last Saturday.... the Indian Super League Final.... between Atletico Kolkata and Kerela Blasters gave a similar reading.... Kerela dominated the full match but kolkata won by a 94th min(5 mins injury time) corner kick...it happens...
why does not happen with weaker rivals in the league my constant queue beat and win?
My experience so far, is to wait this kind of games 1-3 times every season.
It's the logic of football. Sometimes everything can happen.

He have very defensive lineup and you have only one striker. His offense is weak and he doesn't use the flanks.
I think you should have used one more striker maybe 4-4-2 and used flanks or maybe 3-5-2 V
