No experience after a friendly match

Today i scheduled a match between a friend and I. The thing is after it (i lost 2-0 by the way), my players didn't lost condition nor earn any experience, neither did i won or lost packs after the match. The morale of the team did suffer change after the server went to the next day tho.
Is this normal? I could use some pointers because I could just train my players instead of arranging friendly matches.

Normally when the friendly is at your home you *will* gain experience/lose condition/risk injury/gain or lose morale. If away nothing happens to your team.

Morale change happens at server day *and* after matches.

So if it was at your home, that was a glitch that you got nothing.
