Renewal of contract change or bug? or?

Normally when a contract is renewed its 3 years. but this season its only two years, which is the case for three of my squad players





is it me that remembers wrong?

If you renew during the season that it expires then you get a 3 year contract. If you renew in the first day(s) of the new season, it's only a 2 year contract... that's what I've been experiencing when I do have to renew...

I still find it a bit strange, especially when you can't chose the contract length

Pay a player a bonus fee equivalent to 10% his market value only for a contract of '2 years'.

The bonuses are only 10% of his market value - i.e. market value 120M, bonus 12M on re-signing.

I have just checked now, three years but then I have to pay the 10% once more, greedy player!
