[old version] Sudden increase in unread items in News section

I only use old version. Today, I noticed that, as usual, I only had several news notification when logging on. When I clicked the "News" tab, the new unread items suddenly increase to 152. Types of many such items were never shown as unread before.



Is it a bug? I think probably it is not. As I remember, I have a lot of unread notifications when I logon new version. Is this a change to synchronize News tab settings of 2 versions?

I noticed a lot of unread messages on last season day. And then today I witnessed sudden increase in number of unread messages.

I don't like the huge number of unread messages which I have no interest. I don't understand the purpose for this change on old version. But now it is not big deal because the old version can only be used to play until the end of this season.

and that's reminds me to make a suggestion again,
To remove so many useless information.
I mean, who's reading all those transfers his friends doing ?
I never read them.
What I really care is when my player got injured in the beginning of the season or when I bought/sold someone but this info is lost after some days

Beside excessive number of news alerts in new version (current version), I don't like the pop up message boxes on logging on. Much time is required to close them. In my opinion, leaving unread items in news section is sufficient.

It seems no more sudden increase of unread messages in old version today.
