Mobile application extremely laggy

Hi I don't know if this problem is a common issue or it's just me, but lately I could barely open the game, it is extremely laggy for me. It happened that when I tried to watch a free video for a player condition, my phone would just shortcut to main menu, so I couldn't do anything about my players' fitness so I became demotivated and stopped playing.
Someone mentioned today that if I have faster Internet connection it would work better and indeed it does, but it still shortcuts to main menu from time to time when I watch those videos. Is it because of my phone? I have an iPhone 4s atm.
