I have exactly the same problem. Cannot train newly signed players who seem to have 14 years agreement:(
So training works with my normal squad but not if any of the 14 year contract players are included. Also, to other teams the 14 year contract players do not appear in my squad (my FA teammates checked). So basically they are not in my squad (which they shouldn't be because they were unsigned) but for some reason the system thinks they are. I would really like this fixed so I can sign some of them to train/sell/play. Also, I cannot sign any players at present as system thinks my squad is full even though I should have nine slots available as I've sold nine players so far since season started.

This is a massive pain in the ass as I'm missing out on peak selling season and run the risk of getting stuck with all these players that I might have to dump plus my academy player only has 2 days left to sign so I might miss him (no big deal but shouldn't happen).

In my reserves, I had an academy (0T) recommended player from previous season but kept him to sign for the new season.
The game is asking for me now 1T . What ?
When I 'm trying to press the button to renew all contracts, I have this message.
The same when I 'm trying to sign one by one.
In another account I have, the game crash.

I think I now have a squad of about 50 active players, don't think I want to clear cache lol
nikolgiorgios, same happened to me . I had an accademy player before the new season that costed 0 tokens. I didn't buy him cause my squad was full, and today i sold some players and wanted to buy him.. but strangely he now costs one token. Wtf? XD

Same for one of my teams,the free token player is now 1T

This seems to be fixed. All the old codgers have been sacked and I've been able to sign my three out of contract and one academy players (academy players back to 0T). Squad back down to 23 players. Thanks for the fix.
I have contracted them as I do normally with players in the last year. It costed about 10% of their value but then I had over 40 players in my team and could train with them. Obviously a bug with a work -around. :)Quote:
