Left/Right footed player generation bug or intended?

I'm a new player and looking trough the transfer market I'm amazed how many DL ML AML are right footed and same can happen on the right side I uploaded 2 examples I saw today.
Also how much of an impact is having your ML be right footed in the game?

It has zero impact its just there for the sake of realism like weight and height.
Also even in real football not all player that play on the left are left footed. Another example is the recent Ac Milan signing Castillejo who even thou is left footed, seems to play better on the right side.:)

There is some Argentinian bloke who does that at Barcelona. I can't think of his name though..Mussi? Massi? Mossi? Missi?........No it's gone.

Well... it is very realistic when you see left-footed DRs. ;)

Well, Arjen Robben usually playing from the right side, driving to the center and shooting with his left foot.
And he 's doing that very successfully :rolleyes:
