'Reconnecting' and 'New Events soon' on Unite Against Giants

Hey guys,

Is anyone facing this problem when they open Unite Against Giants that the game starts reconnecting and ultimately shows 'New events coming soon'...

Would appreciate replies...

I had Connection Error when trying to enter the event for about 15 minutes now, and suddenly the problem fixed itself... I didn't change a thing...

Yeah there is a lag that we're looking into now; we've temporarily removed the event from the game and will post as soon as we learn more.

Are we going to get an extension? I just logged and some of my friends are still participating in the tournament.
