Training on last day of season

I have a League match and a Super Cup match today. Why do I have to train 4 times before the first match - it should be two, and then two before the Super Cup match, surely?

EDIT: Super Cup match played, and won. Not recorded as a win in the All-Time Stats, and the player stats have not been updated with matches played, goals scored, clean sheet, etc.
