I notice my striker is 193 shooting before I select him for the shooting prize after all the hard work to get that stage. After I selected, the shooting is still same at 193!!!

Please try to reload the game and check again. Let me know if it helps.
Oops I just realise its the speed attribute which is supposed to increase and not shooting. Means I don't know if it has worked as I only took note of the previous shooting attribute.
