Just seen that 2 top Turkish club sides have been banned from UEFA club competitions for a period, starting next season.
Besiktas have been banned for one year and kicked out of next season's Europa League.
Fenerbahce have been banned from all UEFA competition for 3 years.
Also, Steaua Bucharest of Romania have been banned for 1 year, which has been deferred for a probationary period of 5 years).
This is nothing, I remember there was a time that english teams were out of europe for 5 years and this was during a period were Arsenal were affected the most with winning the league in 1989 and 1991.
Yeh I felt sorry for Everton when the ban came in just after they won the league in England.
I remember that. Wasn't it because Liverpool supporters caused massive trouble in the Heysel Stadium before the final against Juventus?
