Messi....great close ball control...quick feet...can go round a whole team...is a team player Ronaldo...strong, quick, great in the air, free kicks are easy, more skill than Messi maybe ? really isn't a team player....neither like to defend

Messi suit's Barcelona's style of play........Ronaldo suit's Real Madrid's style of play...Messi doesnt perform well for Argentina...Ronaldo does perform for Portugal

Basically I will go Ronaldo as he is a more complete player IMO

Messi is crazy but 2013 so far Ronaldo has been better.

Ronaldo is becoming a better team player and as a person. Messi is just smart in covering his trash. They both different style of playing, but you see Ronaldo changes his style every game to become more complete. Messi runs less everyday. I'm a big Barcelona fan, adore Real Madrid but Manucian at heart. I still think neither of these 2 will become great if they can't lead their team to the World Cup like Zidane and Maradona did. They both Captains of their Country yet Ronaldo is too selfish and Messi just not a leader at all.
