Agreed with sdw. Though I find that against such formations as you face, you could consider 2xDMC 1x MC instead of 1xDMC 2xMC. That, or mixed passing instead of down the flanks. Down the flank-passing on a V-formation for me usually results in low-scoring MCs with many fouls and yellow cards, as they mainly defend, rather than attack.

V shape
the midfield line is DMC,two MC's,AML and AMR.This is like "V" form.

any suggestions for passing, attacking and what not? Sorry only a lvl 2 manager.

Mixed passes down both flanks,zonal marking,normal tackling.
Normal or attacking mentality(your choice).You can use the formation without any arrows,you can use red arrows on DL/DR/AML/AMR.You can use blue arrow on your DMC,it depends of your opponent's attack and formation.If you play normal mentality use counter-attacks,if you use attacking dont use counter-attacks.Never use offside traps.
