You shoulb be fine with any formation. I'd try a more offense one, gives you more goals to be happy with.

You don't need a strong midfield as you have 80% possesion by default and don't have to compete for it, get yourself a few am's and strikers 3 dc should be enough to hold any random attacks from the amc.
Just watch out not to make a illegal formation yourself and check wether your enemy is trying to be funny by changing his formation the last second.
