Hello everybody!
I had a great defeat in CL home game a day ago. I bought some new players so I could try to play a good away game (I don't think I can qualify but would like to impress my opponent!)
He plays 4-3-3 and has very good players (just 3 are 4*, the rest of the team is 5*!)
First game I tried narrow diamond nothing I tried worked.
Maybe I should try motivated 4-4-2 and try to attack flanks?
Maybe first game I should have played 5-4-1 or something like that.
Any ideas? :)

Because you need to match the same MC he has on middle field
So
You need to
Normal
Throw flanks
Short pass
Normal tackling
Zone
Own half
Put red arrow on AML / AMR
Offside trap off
Counter off
Because you are 0-4
Make
Attacking
Throw flanks
Whole pitch
Short pass
Hard tackling
Zone
Red arrow on DL / DR / AML / AMR
Offside trap on
Counter off

I don't have any AMR / AML but I have 2 AMC.
it's a good idea to have the AMC to play as AMR and AML?
I will update later and see what happens!
you cant put AMC on AMR / AML position
you need to put every player to his natural position
so if you cant play with AML / AMR try with what u got
try 3-5-2 flat
mentality : attacking
throw both flanks
short pass
normal tacking
whole pitch
zone
offside trap : ON
counter : OFF

I don't have ML or MR so I think I will relocate AMC to AMR and AML and see what happens :D
I've had good results with players playing "close" to their original position...
Game is in 10 minutes!

Well I'm 1-0 down after first half but at least this formation seems to be working much better than first CL game :)
I've also had more goal attempts than my first game. I'm happy with that :P
What formation you used ?
CL season is over.
1-1 final score. I changed formation during the game to 4-3N-1-2 for second half and attacked through middle since my AMC has shadow strike special ability and it worked good.
I have to say that after I was defeated in 1st game I bought some new players and it better balanced my team :)
I had only 3 stars defenders and now I have some 5 stars and a very good AMC now :D
I started match with 4-3N-2W-1 down both flanks and It worked, I missed 2 goals because it was my MC that was trying to score and It failed :PQuote:

4-3-1-2 AMC shadow strike is very powerfull

It is a good idea to always have red arrow on AMC (Shadow Striker) while playing Narrow Diamond?
I'm sticking to narrow diamond since I have some good players for this formation now :)
Yes only on AMC but you can sometimes add To DMC too depends on the formation you against
