counter attack tool database

Hi there,

I created a database for all the counter formations. You can find it here:

http://buzzer.lima-city.de/top11/

You can enter your formation (clicking the positions on the field) or select one from the list.

- see available counter formation for this (and for which the opponents one is a counter attack).
- rate and comment the counter formation
- add a new counter formation
- use the direct links for posts (e.g. http://buzzer.lima-city.de/top11/?id=1 )

But please add your formation wishes and solutions.


Notes:
- It is still an alpha release, it works fine with firefox. Also (with design errors) with chrome.
internet explorer and (tested) mobile browsers are not supported yet (you can try it, but it fails to select a list item).
- there is one known bug. When you enter a rating(&comment) you return to the counter formation overview (without the selected counter formation you rated). But you rate/comment was saved.
- there is no "deletion" function. If you think a counter formation is wrong, please rate i down.
- tactical settings will come later. use the comment field for suggestions. (first word in comment "SETTINGS" please)

Can anybody send me the english words in the tactic tab?

I can't figure out where to change the language ingame.

It's down on the right side // Unten rechts da wo man auch auf Vollbild umschalten kann. Ist eine kleine Landesflagge, da kannst du die Sprache ändern. Schönes Tool hast du da gemacht.

Short update:
I added orders. After at least 1 entry, percentage of each order selection will be shown.
example: some people posted orders for a counter formation (data will be saved for that opponent-counter-pair like always)
possible result of Pressing style: Own half (36%), WholePitch(64%)

Nice work everyone. Lots of (valid) tactics are already in the database, also some available counter formation. Nice work after one day :D

update:
I changed the whole result design. It will only be shown if there is any result. Also rating and orders are shown in the main tab.
You can also rate by clicking on the stars.

Some other small design changes had been done.

Great idea, can you change it so when you add a "new" you can also add the orders, currently you have to send then go back in to add the orders.

Maybe it comes in the future. Currently the formation will be recognized after clicking send. The pair is created and can be edited with the orders afterwards.the was ans issue about it, im not sure why icould not do it that way. I'm on holidays now (800km bike) and Quite tired after 100km At 35-40 degrees now ^^ i will go in in a week

Man, I hope not. Seems like it though, but I hope not. What a cool script. It seems like as long as knowledgeable people provide good feedback to the script it will hopefully update and improve on its own. The arrow piece would have been an awesome addition but it's great as is for newbies, especially for rare formations.

Hello everybody. After I received a mail from a user, I started to work on the counter db again. Since now I just made minor improvements:

To keep the dataload smaller I changed the following:
- mirrored tactics were added. So you rate/comment/add counter attack for the current and also for the mirrored tactic. Due to that, some quick links may not work anymore (e.g. tactic 17 is mirror of tactic 13, the new quick links will be id=13 and id=13&mirrored instead of id=13 and id=17)
I hope we get more ratings and comments this way.
- tactics with no entered counter tactic will be removed. So if is possible that you will not find a tactic you entered via quick link and you have to enter it again (when a counter tactic exists, it will be kept in the db)
-other cleaning functions

todo:
page design,
smaller ID numbers (currently at about 7000 but much less formations)
arrow settings

If you find any errors (especially due to the mirroring, I hope everything works fine), please write them down here: A link to a screenshot would be nice, too.

edit: it would be nice if you share the main link or a quick link when discussing a tactic in the national forums/facebook etc. This would help to improve accuracy of the ratings/amount of data I think. After my upcoming exams I will update the data. But I hope we can collect much data until then. Otherwise it would be waste of time to improve it :(

I face some kind of problem in that database recently, whenever I click field to position a player (exam: dl/dc) it automatically try to open a new web page or tab on my browser and my anti-virus software warn me :eek:

Can you put a counter to the rating (star), how many rates this have? Because, if we see a rating of 4,5, we don't know, what base this founded.
It can be 2 - 1x 5, 1x4
But it also can be 1000 - 800x 5, 100x 4, 100x 1

Did he share the code with you? Anyone developing it still?

I found a error, can´t put DL-ML-AML in a formation but it´s possible in the game.
