    How to counter 4-1-2w(ml&r)-3

CL 2nd knockout stage, first round is home. My team is slightly better. I've never come up against this formation although it looks very similar to wide diamond. Still haven't figured out how to post pics. Any help would be great. Thanks people

I would use more players in middle, because he is lacking of mc players.
4-2-2W(AML/AMR)-2 example. You should have advantage because you are playing home, and you got a better team quality!

My view on this would be 3DC to stop his 3ST, 1DMC to help out, 4 in the middle, to block his ML/MR and play MCs in the middle and two strikers.

Some red arrows on your mid MCs to give more agression in the middle.

Yeah, I've been finding 3dcs and a dmc works well against 3 st. What do you think: normal or attacking(preferred), short pass, down flanks? Thanks for the input

Play normal since you'll be playing away. Through the middle since he has no MCs there. Mixed passing.
