New Counter Formation Thread

Since July Fourth have made his decision to delete his counter formation thread, I will be doing the new one. These formations are from my experience. If you have any good counter formations, post a screenshot of your results AND PLAYER QUALITY OF BOTH TEAMS.

Only because someone has copied them. No point deleting them after all.

I don't understand the logic behind countering Wide Diamond with 3w-2mc-3am-2. Seems to me your dc is left to handle 2strikers & an AMC by himself. Does this really work?

Can you suggest me the other settings if i use 4132?
Opponent is 20.5 against my 20.2 so i say he is slightly stronger

PNR & July have put these suggestions on show for you as a counter formation. You need to work the rest out for yourselves. If there was a winning formation for every situation it would be pointless playing the game. Trial & error is the key - learn by your mistakes - helpful hints are always available, but only hints!

New season here w a new engine. Hoping a few of these counter formations are still relevant. I noticed a lot of teams are using a 4-5-1 flat formation. ND always is pretty popular. Facing ND tomorrow for the 2nd leg of the Cup. Played 3w-1-3w-1-2 away for the first leg and tied 1-1. Possession was 59%, 16-13 shots, 8-3 on target. Of course I wound up with a vital injury 10mins in to my only MR. Always seem to get injuries the first few games.
Anyway Im playing WIDE DIAMOND, attacking flanks w mixed passing. Just not sure about pressing whole pitch/hard tackle or own half/normal tackle. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
