help against 4-4-2 please

I used 4-5-1 v style , 4-1-2-1-2 , butterfly against 4-4-2 classic but I lost all of them


what I must use ? I lost first cup semi final 2-1 away game using butterfly

I have better team then my opponent also


I heard 3n-4-1-2 can beat it

but I don't know what orders shall I use

I use 3n-4-1-2 against 4-4-2 and win 3-1 at home.
Quality of my team and my opponent its same.
Orders:attacking,mixed,whole pitch,short passes,normal,zonal.no offside,no counter and no arrows.

Either 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2 can go against 4-4-2 classic. It's better if you have AMCs with Shadow Striker SA. If you do, put UP arrow on him. If you defenders have high speed attribute, play offside trap because you have only 3 DCs.

If using 3-4-1-2, then attack with mixed focus passing. If 3-4-2-1, then attack through the middle. Your squad must fit the formation as well, you just can't force your players to play any type of formation.
