Stop his flank attack and attack him from the flanks cuz he hasn't wingbacks.It's your choise of formation.Use AML and AMR and you'll beat him without problems.My suggest is butterfly or 4-3N-2W-1

I`ve played against weaker team with this formation 3n-5v-2 and i lost 0-2 against 4-4-2. And i didnt have possession. I tried again with the same opponent but with 3w-5v-2 and I won 5-0.

The mentality of the team doesn't matter which team is the best.So what...If the opponent team is weaker he'll play defensive and if you always play offensive,you can get goals froam counter-attacks.That's why I always play with normal mentality.

Use AML and AMR because he hasn't wingbacks.Dont use red arrows on your DL and DR because he has wings.Soo....neither 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 are not good enough.Try butterfly 3N-2W-2-2W-1 or 4-3N-2W-1 or 4-2-2-2 hexagon or 4-5-1 V style.

Down both flanks.That's the purpose to use AML and AMR..To attack him from the flanks.
And my tip in the future - never use attack from the middle cuz the game engine is not so good at this type.Mixed is better.

Im sorry man, in few hours I play the final champions too... we will see. This 3-5v-2 i used one time and i losed against weaker team with a classic 4-4-2... now no time to try it again...
