    Need help 4-2-2-2 hexagon!

Hi guys , tomorrow i'm playing the CL's quarter-finals . My opponent uses a 4-2-2-2 hexagon , and i dont know what would be effective to counter it! I tryied 4-5-1Vstyle twice this season to counter this and it DID NOT work!
    ( my quality 32.7 , his 30.7 ) A good advice would be highly appreciated ! Thx.

I have used 4-2 (MCs) -3 (AMR/L and AMC) -1 and it did the trick for me. Sadly I do not remember the orders.

I think I have used counter attacks, defensive, pass focus "mixed",

Is the butterfly formation still useful against this?

4-3N-1-2 for sure. I lost to a much weaker team twice using 4-2-2-2 (hexagon) in CL group.

I just won against a stronger team. 3-5-2 flat formation. defensive, counter-attack, normal tackle, mixed pass.

won my CL match 4-0 against a team running the 4-2-2-2.

I used 4-3N(MC)-2W(AML-AMR)-1, normal mentality, no counter, no trap, flanks, own half, mixed passes, zonal, normal tackling. I used red arrows on my AML-AMR and ST.

I think I read it somewhere on the forum and have been doing it ever since. Not sure if it has any effect on anything.
