I would go 4-5-1 V style.

I beat an opponent the other day 5-0, they ran 3W-1-3N-3, I used 4-3N-2W-1. So I figure since he is using an AMC you could drop one of the 3 MC's to play DMC and it should work.

Don't use 4-5-1 V. His/her AMC with the 3STs will overload your defensive line through the middle easily (The DL/DR won't provide enough support for an ST-AMC attack combo when he/she is using 3 STs; to many follow up attack options). You need a DMC and 3 DCs to prevent this, so 3-5-2 V would work or 3n-1-4=2 (you could also use 3n-1-3w-1-2 as a variant, but if he/she is using force counter attack tactics he/she could make a break through the middle with his DMC and 2 MCs; which would be hard to defend against because of his/her AMC and 3 STs).
