3-2-2-2-1 butterfly .. need some advices plz :)

hey all,
i am a lvl 3 player and sadly i never won a title...
6th 4th 4th
i really can't understand the game so much, on what bases i set a formation?
for an example if i saw a player plays with 4-5-1V what should i do to beat him?
for me 4-5-1V got a strong middle and wings (here my brain crashes)
any advices for the understanding of the game??

secondly,, in the new season i wanna try playing 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly
anyone can help me with the arrows & tactics??

I tend not to put arrows usually. For butterfly, the only type of arrows I would put are on the dml/r. If the other team have only fullbacks on the wing, I’ll use red arrows on them. Alternatively, if say you are facing a strong winger that is way higher Q then your wingbacks, you might want to use blue arrows.

I basically use arrows if I dont want/cant play a player in a position I need. So say if I am playing 4 at the back against 3 strikers but dont to play 5 at the back to cover the middIe striker, l would play a dmc blue arrow to act as my dc.
