    Strange formation 3w-1-2w-3w-1

    Hi,
I'm facing a cup opponent tomorrow of about equal strength who is using a formation I haven't seen before and would appreciate advice on how to counter:
    3w-1-2w-3w-1
    -----------ST-----------
    AML-----AMC-----AMR
    ML--------------------MR
    ------------DMC----------
    DL----------DC-------DR

I was thinking of using a 4-5-1 V with attacking, mixed passing, force counter, no offside and full pitch press.

    Your thoughts?

Dont worry that is An. Ilegal formation, 3 players in the same flank. I have face one like that, and beat it with 442

He's just switched to 3n-1-2w-3w-1, ie. he has just narrowed his backline making it legal.
Still thinking 4-5-1V is best counter...?
