    Question Can anyone teach me to counter the 4-2-3-1 formation?

    My formation is:
    ST(4 stars)
    AMC[up](4 stars)
    ML[up](3 stars, corner specialist)--MC(3 stars)--MC(3 stars)--MR[up](4 stars, free kick specialist)
    DL[up](3 stars)--DC[down](3 stars)--DC[down](4 stars)--DR[up](3 stars)
    GK(3 stars)

    My opponent formation:
    ST(3 stars)
    AML(3 stars)--AMC(4 stars, shadow striker)--AMR(4 stars)
    MC(3 stars)--MC(5 stars, Playmaker)
    DL(3 stars)--DC(5 stars)--DC(4 stars)--DR(4 stars)
    GK(4 stars)

    Please reply as fast as you can because the match starts on 8.00 p.m. (GMT+8)

    I lost with 4-4-2 classic, But I don't guaranted it's work to your team...

    This is old thread, but some players might still see it. I've just finished my cup match against this formation, he is slightly worse than me in quality. He beat me in the first game because I didn't even attend to it 3-1, I had Narrow Diamond then. In the 2nd leg I used 4-1-3N-2 and played 3-1 until 90th and in additional time I scored 2 more, so total was 5-1.

    This was my formation and orders:

    ---------ST-ST----------
    -------------------------
    -----MC-MC(up)-MC------
    -------DMC(down)--------
    DL(down)-DC(down)-DC(down)-DR(down)

    Defensive, through the middle, own half, normal tackle, combined passing, zonal marking, force counter-attack.

    If you play against this formation soon and you use my tactic, please reply in this thread. I wanna see also your results.
