What's the best formation to use against 4-5-1 V-style?

Will flat 3-5-2 be good, or should I try for a butterfly?

I know someone always plays V, and he has trouble with 4 3 3 as well
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

4-3n-3 or 4-3n-2-1 is good against v style

3-5-2 leaves the defense line very open on the flanks and a good attacker will always use a counter approach...4 3 3 attack gives balance with 2 cdm supporting defense and attack

There's no way to beat 4-5-1V as it is my tactic....
Seriously, 4-3-3 would do but I never play 4-5-1 V against this. I switch to 3N-1-3N-2WAM-1 and byebye poor 4-3-3 ...

3N-2(DML/R)-3N-2 Defensive Hexagon - if you're going to use 4-5-1V as your default formation then you should know what to use if someone uses it against you. Never been beaten when I have used the above formation against 4-5-1V...

Never seen that... Let's hope it's not going to give any hope to my opponents... But I think the 4-4-2 ND should get through this easily.

My favorite playstyle is 4-5-1V and I never lost vs 4-3-3.

I also never had problems with ND, but this season, I faced two ND - first I won 1:0 vs. slightliy weaker team, second I won vs. much weaker team only 2:0.
My wife destroyed (with ND) three 4-5-1V. Two of them were stronger (5:2, 4:0 - both managers watched the games), one was slightly weaker (6:0).

Yes, if I see someone lined up with that formation (or something like it) against my 4-5-1V I can just rotate my three forward players into 4-1-2-1-2ND and have a lot of success...

A strong 4-3N-3 will burn a 4-5-1V, so I just move the wingers back to ML/MR and use 4-1-4-1.
