    is 4-1-2-1-2 ND unbeatable

    Dears,
I alaways face problems when playing against 4-1-2-1-2 ND
    I tried
    4-1 (dmc)-3w-2
    3-1 (dmc)-4-1 (amc)-1
    3-4-1 (amc)-2
    3-1(dmc)-3w-1(amc)-2
    4-4-2

The previous strategies I have tried them againt teams weaker or almost equal to me and usually lose

Last match in the champion league played a home match
Against a team that is in quality is much close to me
    And have lost 3-2
The first half I played 3-1-4-1-1 and ended with 1-1
The second half I changed it to 3-1-3w-1-2 and received more 2 goals and scored one

I have a second leg today
So how to deal with this formation

    nothing is unbetable....
    try 4-5-1 V

RED ARROW in ur ST, normal mentality, through flanks,

Back up scenario if he is much stronger, defensive mentality, counter attack ,normal tackling, through flanks,

You need excellent AMR-Ls to play 4-5-1V

    I'm totally agree with him...
Or you can try 4-5-1 v motivated with attacking mentality through flanks with mixed passing, put red arrows on both ST, AML/AMR and DMC for extra offensive and also blue arrows for all defender..
Thats all work for me to beat 4-4-2 ND..

I am not fun of many arrows (specially in DCs),but u can try it as Jimmy said.
imo no blues at all ,one red to ur ST.
This will give u possesion ..if u are 0-0 after 60m and if u still have possesion put red to ur AMR-Ls .
As i told u before u need excellent wings to play 4-5-1v

    yup,
this is an option for you, about what do you want to use, you are the manager, you manage your team..

I have aml and amr with 3 star quality
And have ml and mr with 5 stars quailty
Could I play with ml and mr in the position of aml and amr
Or remain with the two 3 star players in their original positions

I've just won against a good team that played 4-1-2-1-2 ND. I used 3N-1-5-1. Defensive with long passes. Red arrows on my wide midfielders, and blue arrows on my 3 defenders.

i know this is a late reply, but actually the best counter for the 4-1-2-1-2 nd is the 4-1-3n-2. used with mixed, mixed, attacking, hard/normal tackling, zonal, own half and no counter/no offside. red arrows on middle MC and both STs

My friend started loosing all his games playing that formation (after originaly pwn'ing)...

Worst case for him was against this formation:

    DC DC DC
    DMC
    MR MC MC MC MR

    ST

I beat him comfortably myself with it in a friendly (and he have much stronger sqaud), used passing over flanks, defensive, counter attack, rest normal and no offside... He had little to no flank attack, so I just shut down the central areas complettely and counter attacked his exposed flanks myself.
