whatever i do i still cant win against 4-4-2!!!

this is my last match against 4-4-2.. i was playing away.. i've used 4-4-2 ND.. and my setup was

mentality : attacking
focus passing : through middle(1st half), 2nd half i went both flanks
pressing : own half
passing : short
marking : zonal

counter on, offside off.. and yet i get a draw and i had more possession but can't manage to score a single goal. my team is 6Q higher then him at that time. this is so ridiculous!!
