Anyone any idea on this one?

This evening I'm facing an opponent with the following formation:
    3N - 3 (DML-DMC-DMR) - 2MC - 2 ST

Anyone of you any idea what formation and tactics I could use best?

    Thanks in advance.

Try to use 3 DC 1 DMC 3 MC 1 AMC & 2 ST. Set on mentality normal / attacking. Short pass, Mixed, whole pitch, zonal marking & counter attack. Normally, when my team play against opposition who use DML & DMR i not using AMR & AML because they can block it. However, it depends on your team morale & conditions must fully 100% fit

Well, I've tried what you proposed, although I had only 20% possession it got 1-0.
Decided to change the AMC for another defender, so my formation changed to 4-1-3N-2. Bal possession was suddenly around 60/70% and it became 3-0.

You're right Asen ..... it didn't came to my mind that I was using an illegal formation until I saw your reply.
What do you mean exactly with 4-4-2 ND? What does the ND stands for?

thats 4-4-2 Narrow Daimond and looks like

    ----ST---ST----
    ------AMC------
    ----MC---MC----
    ------DMC------
    DL--DC---DC--DR

thats narrow diamond its not form of diamond but ... thats the name of the scheme

other scheme which u can use is 4-3-1-2
