Weird 4-1-3-2
Hi there
I've got a weird 4-1-3-2 to beat.
-DL-DC-DC-DR-
------DMC------
---MC-MC-MC--
-----------------
---ST--ST-------
So instead of a 4-3-3 with 3 Strikers, he removed the left striker and replaced him with a DMC.
I suggest he wants to slip between my 2 DCs with his middle striker. Should i play now with a
4-1-4-1 (blue arrow on the DMC) counter attack, 3-2-2-2-1 or 5-4-1 counter attack?
Or do you think 1 ST is too less for his defense?
What do you suggest?

4-4-2c work well for me. Up to your ML/MR. Or butterfly up to your DML/DMR.

It is still effectively a 4-1-3-2, you shouldn't worry too much about tht.
I agree 4-4-2 would give him a run for his money. Whose starting XI is stronger? Play counter if his total stars are more than your, normal if u have more stars.

Yah I just thought that it could be that the field is kinda separated in different quarters. So I thought if the quarter of the middle DC is empty, his middle striker might could go between my Left-DC and Right-DC, if you know what I'm sayin!?
That's why i thought to play with 3 DCs, in order to "fill" every quarter in my central defense.
Maybe thats just nonsense, but I don't know how the game engine works...that could be a simple explanation, but I dont know how complex the code is...
About the Quality: We're equal, more or less..I might be slightly stronger...
So if I go for 4-4-2, I know the orders.
But what about Butterfly?
Normal
DBF
Own
normal
mixed
or should I go for defensive and counter attack DBF?
//edit: Ok, I played "butterfly". Won. Thanx for helpin me :)
