I had a cup final with opponent who was 3 stars better than me and was using 3-2-3-2, and i used 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation. drew the game with score of 2-2(but won on penalties). i wanted to use 4-4-2, but it was illogical because he has 3mc and his dml-dmr can cancel my ml-mr, so i advise u to use diamond, if teams are equal you will get a win most of the times
