How to beat 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond

Hey guys, I know there are several threads about this question but tomorrow I'm going to play against the first in the rank (I'm second). He's playing with 4-1-2-1-2 narrow Diamond and I'm using 4-4-2.

Do you think 4-4-2 is a good formation against 4-1-2-1-2?

I tried everything I could. 4-4-2, 4-5-1 and 3--4-3 but I lost 5-0. O.o

i always play 3-1-4-2 against the diamond and i always win the game......played this at least 10 times never lost against the diamond

wide diamond i only played twice used 4-4-2 simple and i won both times but i was the better team....hmmm i think 4-4-2 flat should work and if his gets too many opportunities try 4-1-4-1...if u are the better team go with 4-4-2 flat if he is better go with 4-1-4-1 defensive mixed mixed passing and counter on

My tema is much better. I will try it.
I play a league with 6 friends of mine. They all use the same tactic. The Wide Diamond. I could win 2 games using a solid possesion tactic 3N-1-5-1...
But one of then are now trying 4-1-3w-2, and i lost one game. Could I use the 4-4-2 flat against this too? (Becouse he start with Wide Diamond, and then he put back his AMC to a MC position (His AMC is AMC/MC)...
