any idea ?
ive just used 433 in the final , lost 4-0 even numbers, try 442 nothing else seems to work, good luck.
4-5-1v style. Up to your dmc.
Tactic ? Through the middle ?
Better use the same formation 4-4-2 with red arrows on ML and MR. Everything else put normal.
Good luck!
I used 4-4-2 and the only tactic which in my opinion is better, is 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond
That is what a friend of mine said as well, 41212 nd works for him, but how do you hold back his MR and ML? Of course he will not share any details because we are league rivals. Would you add two red arrows on your DL and DR to make them DMR and DML to control a 442's MR and ML?
Attack down both flanks with mixed passing. Up to your dmc, don't put any arrows ;)
------------ST------------
-AML---------------AMR-
-------MC-----MC------
----------DMC---------- RED ARROW
-DL---DC-----DC---DR-
And @ Marco Brown, i answer your message to here too ;) Good luck guys.
I know, I guess it all depends on orders and the quality of the individual players....
i will play against 4-4-2 too in the finals both in the cup and CL....i used 4-4-2 too a lot but will not use it in the final as the opponents have better teams and i can not match them punch for punch.....i will use a 3w-1-3w-1-2 as i used this tactic before against 4-4-2 and i won with it even against stronger opponents....that's my input i will play the cup tonight at 1 am and my opponent is 4 q better than me....i will let u know how it ended up as the cl final is later...at least my 2 cl finals are
Well, I guess than I have a problem, my two DC's are not doing all that great. They are the strongest player, contract is good, I keep moral up with blues. I have to weaker DC's with a much better form than my two stronger ones. But my opponent has strong ST's. Should I use the two weaker DC's? Question over question:)
And I assume no counter, no offside, normal mentality, normal tackle?
His team was a bit better than mines. I was playing 4-4-2 and he was playing 4-1-2-1-2.
I won the first home game 2-1 but lost the second game 0-5:rolleyes:
so i played the cup last night i won 3-0 started with 3w-1-3w-1-2 ended with 4-4-1.....the guy did not even knew what hit him....total whooping....

But thats the normal 4 4 2 , he had 3N 1 DR .
I Wanna go with v Style
Maybe i can beat him
v style does not work against 4-4-2....before my cup game i played 2 friendlies against 4-4-2 with v style as i manage 3 teams...the team with 4-4-2 had 22q mine is 19....4-4-2 destroyed 4-5-1 v style....the 4-4-2 basically shut me down i had no goal scoring opportunities and conceded 2 till half time in both games....had to change to an illegal formation and take the goalie out and place striker in goal so my cup finalist team could win and not **** up their form.....
Anyway that's just my input do what u think is best for your team and try to look back through other games that u played and see when u had the best results and with what formation
He plays the whole time 4-4-2 , at half finals he win´s against v Style by penality .
So the first time i gonna play v Play , if it doesn´t work i gonna play with 4 DC/DR/DL - 1 DMC- 2 ML/MR - 1 AMC - 2 ST
Thats the formation what i actually use in a few games 24 Games , 23 Wins - 1 draw , my statistics
Let it roll - gonna test it
Thing is, I use 3N-1-3W-1-2 with great succes; 6 matches played against 4-2-2, all won. Thats with one of my teams. With another team I manage, results are quite different using the same formation.
Very difficult
But i gonna test 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 . Both flanks , defensive
i win many games vs 4-4-2 with 3N-4-1-2 ! try it
just won cl final against 4-4-2 with 3w-1-3n-1-2
