4-5-1 V is one of the best, but maybe theres better?!

I'm in season 7 & I have had good success winning the league every year with 4-5-1 V, but I don't seem to do too well in the cup & when I come across teams that win the cup & aren't as good as my team, so I always have a look at what formation they play to see if I'm missing a trick.

Like I say, I have played 4-5-1 V for 6 full seasons

League - Winner x 6
Champions League - Winner x 3, Runner up x 1, Semi finals x 2
Cup - Winner x 1 (AND THATS ITS)

I'm a big believer of sticking to the same formation & not to change it to counter formations. I've heard 4-4-2 classic plays well, but I think there is better out there.

Anyway, the 2 formations that I have seem cup winners use before all season is 3-4-1-2 & 3-1-2-3-1 as in:-

ST

3-1-2-3-1
GK
DC
DC
DC
DMC
MC
MC
AML
AMC
AMR
ST

What's your thoughts on that formation instead of 4-5-1 V ??? Has anyone else had any success using it?
