well I m using this formation and m quite happy with the way things are going

4-1-4-1 away or 4-1-3w-2 at home..Get past your front line and you have wide open spaces in your own half.

I know back in the olden days teams often used between 5-8 forwards like 2-3-5 etc... never tried it in a game though. I like using a 3-3-1-3
