4-4-2 classic : vote for counter formation

After reading lots of posts, it is hard to decide which formation works the best against classic 4-4-2, which is a pain in the a.. for many players . So i think it is a great idea to vot for it by posting the formation that worked well for you.
For example : i post 4-1-2-1-2 narrow - 1vote. Next post is ; 4-1-2-1-2 narrow : one vote ; 4-5-1 v -one vote . Next post : 4-1-2-1-2 narrow - 2 votes ; 4-5-1v -one vote. And so on… So the last post in the thread will have all the votes so far. Maybe we will find the right one.

3-1-4-2..(DL,,DC,DR,DMC,ML.MC,MC,MR,ST,ST....No contest for me.;) vote 1.

3n-2w-2-2w-1 butterfly....works wonderfull againt it. Vote 1

3n-4-1-2 if ur stronger and if u are weaker 3n-1-4-2

Orders: normal mentality, through on the flank, mix passes, press own half, no counterattack, no offside.

I did the same for last season..I won all
I did the same this season twice..I lost both... 4-4-2C .... My team is so much stronger than their ones...

I tried twice another formation..3w-5-2 and it works atm...

this season i`ve played 1 game against 4-4-2 classic, i won 0-1,but opponent was much much weaker than mine. Btw my next game against 44-2classic(pretty strong 1) away and i m goin to play with butterfly,any advices guys?i`ve never tried this tactic before, so i`m a bit afraid for the resssult

anyways, formation is one thing, opponent's orders are another. You can counter formations but rarely can you counter team orders, because you can't see wht is set. So I am skeptical about one formation countering another perfectly.

Even if you follow the suggested counter formation & orders to the dot, there is a 20% chance it will not work because the opponent might have A. One outstanding player or B. Their teams order neutralize your threats.

So really, it's all about getting your best players to play (best here doesn't mean highest star) and hope that they will turn up for the match.
