Well, wanted to share some info on a formation, that is really crazy! I call it the 3142 total madness. A good friend of mine allowed me to share this with you folks. Now, you have to have guys to play it:). It works well against center based formations. I have a couple of examples.

So now, try it out in some friendlies. What you need is a 4-5 *team, and do you have the guts to try it.

Ive played that formation plenty.. but not those orders/arrows! :D Easy tackling? What?!?!? and I don't red arrow my D.
I sometimes go with total airplane and have an AMC instead of one of the STs..
But it is a good formation I agree, and not just for a full five star team.
When me and my buddy first talked about, I thought he was full of it! Then I looked at his trophy room and current standings and I figured that I needed to try it out and BAM it works very well against center based formations. I guess, try it out and see... :)Quote:

Well, I am currently playing level 6, but these instructions are from someone that is playing the much longer then I did. He is playing level 23 and according to him this is what he has been using since day 1. I was struggling this level until I have tried it out and it worked well. I have an extremely challenging league with at least 11 active managers that will fight for anything... so I decided that I wanted some advice.
Tomorrow I will play with the first team in the league championship I hope that the match is going to be a natural resul without prejudice to the administration of the first team
Skidz, With this formation and tactics, do you play force counterattacks or offside trap at all?
Play offside but no force counter attacks.
Thanks Skidz, I have been playing the exact same as you but I have been playing attacking with force counter attacks. Was doing well until the last 2 days so maybe that small change will makes things better.Quote:

Against the 4-3-2W-1 doesn't have a difficulty?
I will try this total madness formation tonight in cup against a higher level opp that use 4-4-2 classic.

I did not play against this formation yet. Not sure, I have played against various other formations with it, 451V, 41212 nd, 442, 4132, 433 352 etc., only had one draw so far out of 10 games. The rest was victories against a variety of equal, weaker and a bit stronger teams:)Quote:

i won with 3-2 ... but you need your players in full condition ( i got 3 players injured ). great formation... i will try it tomorrow too, in league and CL.
very strange in my game, even if the tackling style was on easy... my players made fouls very often ( he received a penalty shot and scored )

3-5-2V works for me.
I've played this formation without that many arrows for quite q while but found it too vulnerable for my liking. Especially with red arrows on the ML/R. I think btw you can be succesfull with (m)any formation(s) if you got the players that like to play it. Having said that, being the skeptic that I am ;) , the pics dont say much without the players Q posted. The one post that does have it shows a more realistic picture, that you had a (much?) stronger squad.
I'm not saying it's a bad formation, not at all, but I'm not conviced it's any better or worse then some other formations by what's shown in this thread so far.
Can i play with this formation against 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond ? And is it good ? :) I play champion league at 22:00
