How to win against 3-1-3-2-1?

We're level 6, his team quality is 43.5, mine is 43.8.
His tactic:

Are you sure 4-3-3 will do the trick?

He injured one of my strikers and I missed like 3 one on one with the goalkeeper oppurtunities. On top of that, he scored his second goal just like the first one, from a corner, in the 89 minute. Lost 2-1.

I'm pissed. I always lose matches against opponents that have the same quality as me.
