Idea to beat 4-1-2w-1-2 wide diamond, need help for opinion

Hi all,

I will be having a very important match against wide diamond 4-1-2w-1-2, I plan to do the below, can u guys provide me some guidance? Thanks a lot!!!

-wide diamond is weak in centre, so I should attack through middle!
-wide diamond has AMC so I must have a DMC
-wide diamond will most likely attack through flank, so I must have DL and DR

so is the below formation a good counter?

DL --- DC --- DC --- DR

----------DMC-----------

-----MC--MC--MC------

--------ST-----ST---------

What's the name of your team? In 1 hour I will be playing against an opponent in Champions League that exactly uses this formation against my one (4-1-2w-1-2)...
But I'm pretty sure that he'll loose 'cause my settings will surprise him^^

Used the same formation , Only I went with Mixed attacking and won with 2-0 .No counter no Offside through the middle.
4-1-3-2

I did not have 3 Mc, so i used a AMC as a MC , and it worked fine.
Red arrows on MC's and strikers, blue arrows on dmc and DC - No arrows on DR DL

orders and tactic for 4-1-2-1-2 DIAMOND please MR,MARCO!!!!!!

Hi all the 4-1-3-2 I used got beaten..Again I'm still having 100% defeat record against wide diamond :(:(:(

Any other effective formation that I can try out? Kind of desperate now...thanks!!!!!!

I love the 4-4D-2 :D it beats everything!

Honestly, the only formation I can think of that I've lost more than once to is 4-1-1-2W-2.

From my experience playing the 4-4D-2 all three of these statements can be false. Another formation that comes to mind that is frustrating is 4-3N-1-2.

I've never faced 3-5-2 flat, but I'd put money on it beating the 4-4D-2 (which is why I've never faced it, I always use something else).

Edit: Stay away from 4-1-3N-2 and 4-4ND-2 (narrow diamond), they always lose to the wide diamond despite what logic says.

i tried 4-1-4-1 attacking thru flanks yesterday and got a draw....much more better.

but i will try ur recommendation next...thx

It was one scary moment, opponent was really tough and had a better team than mine but i thrashed him/her with 5-0.
