And putting red arrows to AML-AMR is recommended, but not obligatory

that formation is also called 4-5-1 v style. and never use normal or attacking mentality with force counter attacks. Always use defensive. and also focus your passing down both flanks

No harm will come from leaving ur counter attack on even if ur attacking, but yes its more effective when defending.

Harm actually will come from leaving counter attack on when you have an attacking mentality. The whole point of counter attack is that you take your opportunity when you get them and then go back to defending. When you have attacking mentality on, you will take your chances and then still be attacking. You are open to attacks right back at you if you use attacking and force counter attacks
