Help needed! Weird formation

Hi all, got a away match tomorrow and need advise on this formation. His playing 3w-3n-1-3. Ive never come across this formation and seems very offensive. Please help to beat this guy. Have had a not so good season so far, placed 3rd!! Is it me or is 4-5-1V style not as effective anymore?

4-5-1 v style has worked well for me, although i will admit i had to adjust it a little bit this season. either different tactics with 4-5-1 v style or go with 3n-1-4-2

Thanks for the response bro. I honestly love playing 4-5-1 v style as its an attacking and defensive formation, normally against 4-4-2 i would kill my opponent but lately im the one getting slaughtered.. Tell me something, if you use 4-5-1 v style and you play away, do u play defensive or what?

opponent changed formation to 4-3n-1-2... Going with 4-5-1 v style.. what orders should i use?

normal mentality with short passing has been working well for me this season, and generally I tend to be on the defensive side of the spectrum
