CUP Game against 3N-4-1-2; HELP!

Hy,

Today i have the 2nd game in cup against a higher level who use 3N-4-1-2 formation.
In the 1st game i manage to get a draw 1-1 away.

4-5-1 v style all day long! blue arrows on DCs and DMC, red arrows on AML, AMR and ST. Passing down both flanks, defensive mentality

Yeah, great use of the counterattack because of his clear advanced center of gravity!

so... should i use counter attack ? passing... long or mixed ?

You "have to" (i promise, last correction!) use counterattack, mixed pass.
(If you decide to turn on Attack Mentality, then turn off Counterattack...)

4-1-2-1-2 ND works for me. attack, through middle and long pass

This does work as long as you have a strong AMC, otherwise if you have strong wingers use 4-5-1 v style

Not really. In my mind, if opponent has amc so i need to have good dmc

Im saying YOU need to have a good AMC. I am assuming you have an adequate DMC, which if you have the right orders will be fine to cover his AMC
