    How do I counter 4-2-2-2?

Hey guys, I'm currently sitting first on the table and have a 4-5-1 V-Style formation and tomorrow I have a very important match against a player who is fifth on the table but in his past 7-8 fixtures he has been on fire. He is literally beating every team and he doesn't seem to have an amazing squad compared to mine and I'm wondering how do I beat him.

    Thanks in advance.

Those are the Counter formations for the Hexagon
    3N-4-1-2 , 4-5-1 V-Style , 3-4-3

You can find it here : Table of Counter Formations 2.0

    Edit :

You can ask about formations here : Formations and Tactics

Thank you, I think I'll just stick with my 4-5-1 V-Style seeing as I have a stronger side based on quality and if things don't go as planed I'll go all out attack and substitute a MC for a ST.

I'm not really Experienced in the game but I think you should set your orders " Attacking " V-style is really good I use it my self, And it's already a Counter formation So ATTACK

    My orders are:

    Team Mentality - Normal
Focus Passing - Down both flanks
    Pressing Style - Own Half
    Tackling Style - Hard
    Passing Style - Mixed
    Marking Style - Zonal

No counterattack & no offside trap.

I also have red arrows on my DMC, AML, AMR & ST.

Just to be clear I said before that I'm still new to the game but as I use the same formation my orders are :

    Team Mentality - Hard
    Focus Passing - Mixed
    Pressing Style - Whole Pitch
    Tackling Style - Normal
    Passing Style - Mixed
    Marking Style - Zonal

I've been using it for 95% of the matches and Currently On top of my League table with 64PTS and 19points diff. from the one in sec. position.
Also playing in both Cup and Champions League Final.

4-5-1V is the best formation I saw it's well balanced between attacking and defensing.
