Over the last couple of seasons, I've noticed an change in which counter-formations work and which ones don't. Not sure if anyone else has seen the same thing...

One I've especially had a problem with is the 4-3N-1-2, where I've had the superior team, yet been tonked 4-1. This has happened twice now. The below is the counter-formation I had used for the previous 10 seasons, which succeeded every time.

Could anyone suggest how I might be able to beat this formation? Because I hate losing 4-1. It makes me sad.
I always use 4-4-2C to counter this formation...
    Normal/down both flanks/red arrow on ML/MR/hard tackle/long passing/whole pitch/no offside/no counter
